Write Down Your Goal:
Now that you have thought about what it is that you want to change, it's time to write it down on a piece of paper, and look at it every day. Whatever it is you want to change about yourself, it always comes down to one of two things: either patterns of mind or patterns of body. Unsupportive patterns of mind include habitual states like excessive worry, attitudes such as pessimism, or limiting beliefs such as "no one likes me." Unsupportive patterns of body on the other hand are habitual behaviors such as overeating, smoking, gambling, arguing, complaining, making excuses, procrastinating or other bad habits. By writing it down, this serves as a physiological acknowledgment of what needs to be addressed and/or changed in your life. This should be implemented before your first session.

Mark Your Calendar:
Your first visit with us is the beginning of a brand new life. You should celebrate this day by marking it on your calendar, writing it down in your daily planner, or using whatever means you choose to remind you of your upcoming life-changing visit. Marking it down serves as a physiological commitment to creating the new you.

Hold Off On The Announcements...For Now:
Although friends, family members and coworkers are great for moral support, the fact is you are doing something positive for yourself. And while most people will support this, there will always be a few who can't. It's not that they're trying to be mean, but in most cases, you are doing what they wish they could do - changing your life! Therefore, once you succeed you can share it with the world. But until then, we suggest holding off on sharing your decision to change with others. This will help avoid giving any possible negative voices in your life the opportunity to knock you down.

Be Ready To Get To Work:
When we book an appointment for a hypnosis session, we are allotting approximately 90 minutes of time per client. During your visit, we are going to further discuss your goal(s), fully explain the hypnosis process to you, and answer any questions that may arise. However, please be mindful of the fact that we must adhere to reasonable time limits. Remember that your appointment is not a consultation. Instead, it is the time to work on your issue and/or problem. Therefore, if you have any general office related questions, please ask us before your appointment.

Avoid Caffeine:
It is preferable to have your hypnosis session when you are slightly drowsy. Therefore, please avoid drinking caffeine products for at least two hours before your session.

Get Comfortable:
The key to a successful hypnosis session is being relaxed and comfortable during the session. And since our office is vary casual, you can feel free to do things like taking off your shoes, and removing glasses and contact lenses during your hypnosis session.

Stay Warm:
Your temperature does drop during hypnosis. Therefore, if you are the type of person who gets cold easily, you are more than welcome to bring a light blanket to your session if you believe that you may need it.

Other Considerations:
With the exception of taking a few minutes to have you complete required paperwork, when you arrive for your appointment you can expect us to be ready to get to work. Therefore we would greatly appreciate if you can do the same. For example, some of the things you might consider doing before you arrive includes placing cell phones on vibrate, using the bathroom, and telling friends and family members about your appointment - so that expect for genuine emergencies, you do not get disturbed.

Bringing A Friend Or Family Member Along:
We realize some folks have a natural degree of nervousness about attending their first hypnosis session. In addition, some clients may require rides to his or her appointment due to certain medical issues. Because of these situations, some clients may opt to bring a friend or family member along to their appointment.

While we certainly don’t have a problem with you doing so, we want to remind you that this appointment is for YOU and YOUR needs. Therefore, if you plan on bringing someone who is not also receiving hypnosis from us, we ask the following of you:
  • Please extend the courtesy of letting us know ahead of time, as we are generally expecting one client per session - not a group.

  • An appointment is not a consultation. All clients receive a phone consultation prior to schedueling a hypnosis session with us. Therefore, if your friend or family member is not a client of ours, you will also want to remind him or her that we cannot take time away from you to stop and answer their personal questions.

  • Your friend or family member will also be in the room during the entire session. Therefore, he or she will be supplied with his or her own pair of headphones, which are required to be worn during actual session part of your hypnosis session.

  • Combined client sessions, couple hypnosis, and pediatrics hypnosis are an exception and do not apply, since we are already aware that more than one client will be attending the appointment.

    Watch Our Binary Hypnosis Video:
Hypnosis is all based on relaxation, and the more you practice - the easier it is. Therefore, the following video is designed to help you enter a relaxed state of mind using special audio frequencies and tones, and it will make it easier to enter a heighten level of relaxation during your program. You should watch it once a day before your upcoming session, and continue to watch it between session 1 and 2.

Please Note: Our video is hosted on YouTube, which may be blocked by some employers and businesses. Therefore, if you're having problems viewing it, try your personal home computer. Also never listen while performing any task that requires your full attention.

    Final Pointer:
While we'll be handling most of the change with the hypnosis part, it's important that you also be proactive in reaching your goal. The bottom line is that you know what will work best for you - because you know yourself best. Therefore, feel free to implement or use any additional tools and pointers of your own that you feel may aid you in accomplishing this goal and changing your life.
